Come make Fire Cider with us- Fire Cider was coined by respected Herbalist, Rosemary Gladstar. It is a must-have remedy for cold and flu season.
At this class, we will be working with powerful herbs like garlic, onion, thyme, turmeric, ginger, etc! We will learn all about how to stay well during the Cold and Flu season, we will talk about how these herbs fight infection, stimulate our immune system, strengthen the body, and assist in recovery- while making our very own fire cider!
Class takes place at 2pm on Sunday, November 16th at SW Herb Shop and Gathering Place in downtown Mesa! Class fee is $35 and includes the quart-size batch of Fire Cider you will make during the class plus yummy Fire Cider infused snacks.
(Raw honey not provided as that will be added when you are done infusing your herbal Apple Cider Vinegar and have strained it after 3-4 weeks.)
All ingredients and jars will be provided but please bring your own kitchen tools:
- 1/4 cup measuring cup
-knife (wrapped in a towel for safety)
-cutting board
-grater
